fantasy fb week 1 wrap up and week 2 notes

Disasterous week for me... matched up against a lot of craze performances such as...
Chris Johnson, Arian Foster, Hakeem Nicks, Peyton Manning...
However, I look forward to week 2 where I can recover from this horrible start haha.

Top 5 performers from week 1*:
1. Arian Foster (HOU - RB) 231 rush yds, 3 TD, 7 rec. yds
2. Peyton Manning (IND - QB) 433 pass yds, 3 TD, 0 INT
3. Matt Forte (CHI - RB) 50 rush yds, 151 rec. yds, 2 rec. TD, 1 fumL
4. Chris Johnson (TEN - RB) 142 rush yds, 2 TD, 8 rec. yds
5. Hakeem Nicks (NYG - WR) 75 rec. yds, 3 TD

the list is based on standard scoring hence, the list could be different depending on
league settings such as PPR, return yds or others.

Top 5 Disappointing performers from week 1:
1. Mike Sims-Walker (JAC - WR) 0 rec.
2. Matt Schaub (HOU - QB) 107 pass yds, TD, INT, -3 rush yds
3. Percy Harvin (MIN - WR) 2 rush yds 1 rec. 12 yds
4. Michael Turner (ATL - RB) 42 rush yds, 7 rec. yds
5. DeAngelo Williams (CAR - RB) 62 rush yds
5. Calvin Johnson* (DET - WR) 45 rec. yds

*His numbers should have been 70 rec. yds, TD however thanks to some rule in NFL book
his game winning TD rec. was denied.

Monday Night Projections
BAL 20 - 16 NYJ
SD 20 - 21 KC

Player notes for week 2:
Michael Vick (PHI - QB) - with Kolb getting concussion from week 1 vs Packers, he'll get
more opportunities from this point.
Ryan Grant (GB - RB) - left game in 2nd QTR with leg injury
DeAngelo Williams (CAR - RB) - look for Panthers to run more in week 2
match up against Bucs. Their run defense is bad and... Carolina suffered a pain
from their passing game vs Giants. (33 passing attempts[14 completions] while
D.Willy and J.stewart only got total of 21 carries combined.)
Matt Schaub (HOU - QB) - look for him to throw more in week 2's game.
Sure Foster was amazing but don't expect him to carry 30+ every game.
Also, Owen Daniels will be more active hence Schaub will be productive.
Jerome Harrison (CLE - RB) - it appears it will not be safe until Mangini
names Harrison as #1 back for the Browns... he did not lose his position last
year thanks to late heroic performance from Harrison so he should do that soon.
Chris Johnson (TEN - RB) - despite the fact he's going against tough
defense of Pittsburgh, he will probably run for another 100+ yds as he aims
for 2500 rush yd season. Johnson now has ran for 100+ yds in 12 consecutive
games. Also Vince Young had good passing game and if that continues it will
benefit Johnson for more points.
Knowshon Moreno (DEN - RB) - although his status seemed uncertain, he
played well for week 1 so he'll probably run well against seahawks next week.
Cedric Benson (CIN - RB) - Surprisingly Benson only carried the ball for
15 times... but now it gets tougher for Benson as Cincy will face the Ravens on
week 2. But look for him to get more carries since Palmer threw the ball 50
times in a loss against Pats.
C.J. Spiller (BUF - RB) - One of the fantasy R.O.Y candidate however, Bills
O-line will bring some issues to talented rookie tailback.
Darren McFadden (OAK - RB) - with Michael Bush out, he posted a great
numbers: 18 carries, 95 rush yds, 6 rec., 55 rec. yds, rec. TD. Now we could
hope that he can meet up the expectations that we had before.
Owen Daniels (HOU - TE) - after taking a little bit of action in the field it
would be safe to say he will be better for week 2. Though we are still not
sure if he'd be at 100% by then.
Wes Welker (NE - WR) - This guy had shattered all the concerns about him
coming back from ACL injury, catching 2 TDs early in the game. Looks like
he's 100% now. So... my advice is you should let him roll now.
Giants WRs - Yes, hakeem Nicks had one heck of a game. 3 rec. TDs, trashing
Steve Smith's numbers. Next week, we should see more distribution amongst
these receivers at Indianapolis.
Jermaine Gresham (CIN - TE) - at last, this rookie showed some TE action in Bengal
club. With Chad Ochocinco and Owens around, he'll get more opportunities as season
progresses. He's a sleeper who's still up for grab(31% owned now...).
Manning brothers - who will be a better performer in this game? who knows? But
of course, Peyton is expected to do better. However, Eli will do great job as well.
